BANDHAS (INTERNAL YOGIC LOCKS)

Internal Yogic locks are practices that helps to intensify your experience of Yoga. It also helps to shape the flow of energy. There are 3 bandhas, they especially support the flow of 5 Vayu in the body. They also help to lift the awareness and address negative emotions. Regular practice of Bandha helps to improve health, resilience, stamina, well being and helps us to reach enlightenment.

Mulabandha
Mulabandha is practiced by pulling inward the perineum. This helps to redirect the downward energy of Vata (Apana) upwards and reduce

Uddiyana bandha
Uddiyana bandha is practiced by contracting and lifting abdomen and helps to improve Samana vata, the Vayu of digestion.

Jalandhara bandha
Jalandhara bandha is practiced by the closing the throat. It helps to improve Prana, the life force in the body.
